Elizaveta Shanaeva and Devid Naryzhnyy take lead after Rhythm Dance

Elizaveta Shanaeva and Devid Naryzhnyy of Russia captured a narrow lead in the Junior Rhythm Dance as the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships continued in Tallinn on Thursday. Georgia’s ISU Junior Grand Prix Final champions Maria Kazakova and Georgy Reviya (GEO) and Avonley Nguyen and Vadym Kolesnik (USA) are close behind in second and third place.
Estonian ice dancers Darja Netjaga and Marko Jevgeni Gaidajenko made their championships debut on home ice and got season best result in rhythm dance which was not enough to place them among top twenty pairs qualifying for the Free Dance. Netjaga and Gaidajenko finished with 25th place among 29 pairs starting the competition.
